Lucknowi Chicken Kachhi Biryani

Hello friends today being Sunday I thought of doing less work ie put less effort in preparing lunch . That means to me preparing kachhi biryani . Well don’t get flustered . Making biryani not always require too much preparation. You just must have all the ingredients in your home and rest is easy . So let’s start with the recipe without wasting any time.




Ingredients:-

Rice - 700gms
Chicken -500 gms
Curd -300gms
Onion - 200 GMs
Ginger garlic paste - 3 tbsp
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Mustard oil -4 tbsp
Turmeric -2tsp
Chilli powder-2tsp
Milk -4tbsp
Kesar
Kewra is water
Bay leaves
Biryani spices -4 tbsp
This spices include -
Green cardamom
Cinnamon
Cloves
Nutmeg
Shah jeera
Shah morich
Jayitri
Salt
Sugar
Lemon juice -2tbsp


Procedure:-

First  cut the onion into small pieces and fry it till golden brown. Then start marinating the chicken with curd , turmeric powder, chilli powder, half of biryani masala , ginger garlic paste ,4 tbsp of mustard oil, salt and fried onion ( half portion). Rest the marinated chicken for 3 hrs. Meanwhile boil the rice and drain water when half cooked. Keep it aside.After 3 hrs take a pan , put the ghee and add the bay leaves. Then add the marinated chicken to the pan. Add the lemon juice and stir it for 5 mins . Cover the lid and let the chicken get cooked. When it is half cooked and the juice is reduced to 1/4 th add the rice over the chicken . Sprinkle the rest of the biryani masala, fried onion , mixture of milk kesar and kewra water, salt, sugar, 2 tbsp of ghee and close it with a foil and then the lid . Let us t cook in low flame for 30 mins  and then remove it from flame . Keep it cover for another 15 mins and your biryani is ready to serve.

Chicken Bharta

 Hello friends Chicken being my favourite food I always end up making dishes which include chicken. I try to cook it in different styles and ways. Today I will share with you a dish which is very common in North India but very easy to cook . Apple kheer

 Hi friends with the festive season peeping round the corner today I want to share a sweet dish with you which I am sure won’t disappoint your sweet tooth . It is called apple kheer . So let’s begin. Ingredients:- Milk - full cream one litre Apple -2 medium size cut small thin slices Condensed milk 1/2cup Sugar - 3 tbs Cornstarch -2 tbs Dry fruits -(almonds , cashew, raisins) -1 /2 cup Cardamom powder -1 tsp Kesar - few strands Procedure:- First take a fry pan, put 3-4 tbs of water and stir the apple pieces in it . Add the sugar in it . Fry the apple till it become light brown . Remove it from pan and strain the excess juice if any and let it cool . In another pan boil the milk . Keep on stirring and add the dry fruit in it . Add the condensed milk and keeping on stirring in medium flame .
