APPLE CRUMBLE

Hello friends. It has been long time since I shared a recipe with you all. Just a few days back we had our Durga Puja and the festive season is going on with Diwali round the corner. So keeping this in mind I have decided to share with you another of my sweet recipe.  It is a sweet made with the seasonal fruit of winter. It is called the Apple Crumble. It goes very well with whipped cream or ice cream. But you may also have it as it is.

Ingredients :-
2 nos medium sized apple peeled and cut into small sizes
10-15 raisins
2 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
2 teaspoon of sugar

For the crust :-
100 gms flour
50 gms plain oats
50 gms brown sugar
50 gms butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Procedure:-

First put the apple slices , raisins and sugar in a pan and let it cook in medium flame. Add the lemon  juice also. When the apple becomes a bit soft add the cinnamon powder and remove it from flame. Take a baking dish . Brush it with butter and pour the apple mixture on it. Arrange it on the base of the  dish.

Now take another bowl and mix the flour with butter . Mix it fully so that it looks like crumble. Add the dry oats , brown sugar and cinnamon powder to the mixture. It would look just like in the picture.

Then spread this crumble over the apple mixture so that it covers it fully. Now put the dish in a oven and bake it in 180 degree for 30 mins . The upper layer must get a light brown tinge and forms a crust. If you found that the upper layer is not done then bake it for another 5 mins . When it is done remove it from the oven . Before serving you may warm it up and add a scoop of cold ice cream or cold whipped cream.

                                           Bon Appetite!
