Christmas Fruit Cake

 In my childhood Christmas was synonymous with rich fruit cake bought from Nahoum . I have tasted many fruit cakes but none of them matches the sinful taste of that fruit cake . Now after I started baking I tried my best to bring that taste but never accomplished it. But I came up with my version of fruit cake which is not so bad . You may try it. Ingredients:- Flour 21/2 cup Brown sugar 2 cup Sugar 1/2 cup Egg 6 nos Oil 11/2 cup Baking powder 2 tsp Baking soda 1/2 tsp Salt one pinch Cinnamon powder 3 tsp Nutmeg powder 1/2 tsp Ginger powder 3tsp Orange juice 1/2 cup Orange zest 1/4 cup Vinegar 1 tbsp Milk 1/2 cup Dry fruits - (raisins, cashews, almonds, prunes and truity fruity ) 2 cups Red wine 1/2 cup Procedure:- In order to make a fruit cake one have to make preparations from few days back . Carrot Cake

 Come December and only thing that comes to my mind is cakes and cakes and cakes. May be because most of my family members have their birthdays on this month I don’t know but usually I make maximum number of cakes during this period. So today I will share with you the recipe of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Ingredients:- Grated carrot -3 cups Flour -2 cups Brown sugar -11/2 cup Sugar- 1/2 cup Egg -4 nos Oil -1 cup Baking powder -11/2 tsp Baking soda -1/2 tsp Lemon juice- 2 tbsp Cinnamon powder -1 tsp Nutmeg powder -1/2 tsp Salt a pinch 1/2 cup milk mix with 1 tbsp of vinegar Vanilla essence- 1 tsp Dry fruits- raisins, cashew and almonds one cup Frosting ingredients:- Cream cheese Icing sugar Lemon zest Procedure:- Mix all the dry ingredients and pass it through a sieve.
